Job Description:
Ensure the smooth functioning of all aspects of our supply chain, including materials procurement, processing, and order fulfillment and delivery. An efficient, functional supply chain is the backbone of our successful operations, and you use your expertise in logistics management, forecasting, and transportation to build better supply processes, create contingency plans in case of disruption, and ensure key leadership has up-to-date and transparent reporting regarding our present condition and capabilities.
Essential Job Function:
Coordinate and manage the activities involved in planning, sourcing, manufacturing, customer service and delivery of products and services. Ensure timely product delivery and quality standards are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Follow company purchasing and delivery policies (ISO) and process supplier and service purchase orders in compliance with procedures.
· Use ERP and business intelligence tools to forecast demand and determine inventory needs in alignment with customer demand and company cash flow.
· Monitor supplier and vendor performance to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery; escalate and resolve issues as needed.
· Manage and resolve shipment issues, including import, customs, delays, damages, and discrepancies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Maintain accurate records by processing sales orders, verifying order confirmations, and scanning receiving documents into Docuware.
· Support inventory accuracy by monitoring raw materials and ball bearings for timely replenishment and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
· Respond to product inquiries from the sales team and collaborate with operations, production, and other cross-functional partners to ensure seamless order flow.
· Process material hold tickets and supplier returns in accordance with company procedures.
· Set up and maintain part numbers and item master data in ERP and management systems.
· Participate in special projects, audits, and other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
Relevant Qualifications Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 3–5 years of relevant supply chain, purchasing, or logistics experience or a related educational background.
· Understanding of supply chain and customer service principles.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new systems quickly.
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, accountable work style.
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
